Welcome friends and family
Our friends and family are an important part of our lives. But sometimes we lose touch and drift apart. This year, we sent out an end of year letter a little late because we were waiting to confirm our big news and it included a link to this site.
So, welcome friends and family to our adventure. The past couple of weeks have been, without a doubt, insane. So much change in our life and it’s going to keep changing. Basically this blog is our way of sharing everything with you guys.

*Snort* *Snort* Hi everybody, I’m Chubbs the Pug, I joined the family in April and that picture is from my very first day. My hoomans had no clue what they were getting into J But let’s back up a bit. I heard stories about what Eric and Kelci did before they had me.
OH! OH! I GOTTA CHASE MY TAIL!
Anyway, earlier this year, Eric found himself looking for a job, just like I am always looking for my chew toy. I guess he found one he likes as the Corporate Communications Manager for a Silicon Valley software company. He gets to work from home, which means I’m always being fed.
Kelci still works a lot at the hospital as an OR nurse. I get to meet her at the front door when she gets home at night, which makes me so happy I snort. She just passed her Certified Nurse of the Operating Room exams, which she is very proud of. Lots of time spent studying and scratching my ears.
They’ve managed to sneak in some fun this year as well. They made their way through a January trip to Las Vegas, a getaway to Victoria to celebrate their fourth (yeah, that was my thought too) wedding anniversary and I even got to go along on a road trip to visit Eric’s family in Northern California. We spent some cold nights camping in Oregon first. I didn’t see any bears, so it was fun.
We hope the year has been happy and productive for you and your families. You mean a lot to us and we hope to make next year better than the last. Off to dig a hole.

PS (maybe) Oh, there’s one other thing… Kelci and Eric just found out they’re HAVING A PUPPY!!! Oh, they call it a BABY! Words cannot describe the joy they have. They’re beside themselves with excitement and are ready for the joys and challenges of parenthood. They’ll be looking to you for advice and guidance, I’m sure. They still haven’t figured me out.
